Ride Along Program
The Richmond Police Department allows citizens to ride with an officer to gain a better understanding of the functions, duties, and responsibilities of officers. The application must be printed, filled out, signed, and sent via regular mail to the Richmond Police Department.
Applicants will be notified by phone and a convenient time will be arranged for the ride-along.
Submit Application With Appropriate Materials To:

Or hand-deliver it to one of the Richmond Police Department's Community Care Team Members. They will schedule the ride-along for a date that is convenient for you.
