The Electoral Board will conduct Logic & Accuracy (L&A) testing of voting equipment in preparation for the upcoming election.

Logic & Accuracy testing is a public process used to verify that voting equipment is properly programmed and accurately records and tabulates votes as expected before ballots are cast.

Testing Details

This testing is part of the Office’s ongoing efforts to help ensure the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of the election process.

The Richmond Office of Elections will be closed on Friday, April 3, 2026, in observance of the Spring Holiday.

Please note that early voting will not be available on this day.

Early voting will resume during regularly scheduled hours on the next voting day. Voters are encouraged to plan ahead and review important dates and voting information before visiting.

Elections Office & Early Voting Closure Notice 03/16/2026

Due to inclement weather, the Office of Elections and early voting will close at 12:00 p.m. today (March 16).
