Public Information Advisory - January 2, 2025 Special Organizational Meeting
WHAT: Richmond City Council will hold a Special Organizational meeting for (i) the administration of the oaths of office to newly elected members of Council, (ii) the election of new officers of the Council, (iii) the introduction and expedited consideration of a resolution to adopt Rules of Procedure pursuant to Richmond City Charter § 4.06 and (iv) the possible introduction and expedited consideration of a resolution to designate which Council members shall serve on the Council’s Standing Committees and the various boards, commissions, and other collegial bodies on which Council members serve.
