Once your account is established, DPU will mail you a paper bill with your account number. You will use this account number to pay your bill online through our new electronic billing platform, MyHQ. All customers are encouraged to enroll to ensure safer delivery of bills and payments. Opting to use MyHQ automatically enrolls you in paperless billing. Be prepared to provide the necessary information about yourself and the utility service address, including:

The full name of the property owner or leaseholder with a valid lease with the owner

Complete address including apartment or unit number

Service(s) needed and list of gas appliances

Date service needs to be turned on or placed in the customer’s name

Verification information:

If purchasing property: name and telephone number of closing attorney or title/mortgage company

If leasing: name and telephone number of landlord or leasing agent

Closing date or date lease begins and length of lease

Names of all others on deed or all other leaseholders, co-signers and adults listed on the lease
