Neighborhood Climate Resilience Grant Program

This program supports the work of non-profit organizations & partners in Richmond on the frontlines of climate change. The Neighborhood Climate Resilience Grant embodies both the spirit of the newly adopted RVAgreen 2050 Climate Equity Action Plan 2030, and Mayor Stoney’s Equity agenda, and is funded through the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).

At this time the program has provided over $850,000 to local non-profits. The grants will support the implementation of equity-centered, neighborhood-based planning and climate resilience project implementation here in the City of Richmond. We received over 18 applications, totaling over $1.3 million, and are excited to announce a few of the grantees. Recipients include:
