Public Information Advisory - Special City Council Meeting
WHAT: Richmond City Council will hold a special meeting to (i) introduce one or more ordinances to amend Ord. No. 2022-055, adopted May 9, 2022, which adopted the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 General Fund Budget and made appropriations thereto, to amend the City’s spending plan due to real estate tax assessment increases for various departments and to provide funding for purposes of the inclement weather shelter, (ii) introduce an ordinance concerning family crisis funds, and (iii) hold a closed meeting pursuant to section 2.2-3711(A)(1) of the Virginia Freedom of Information Act for discussion and interviews of a prospective Council Chief of Staff.
